The movements practised with plyometric training are explosive and functional. Think of twisting, throwing, pushing, jumping and running, these are all functional movements. During plyometric training, you work on the body's fast muscle fibres, which, among other things, allows you to move better and will give you a stronger body. Apart from this, it is also very good for the body's mobility. A popular plyometric exercise in CrossFit is the box-jump.
