Your athletes will get excited feeling themselves move faster than ever before! Athlete is attached to a secure object or held by a partner. In order to create resistance the athlete prepares by moving away from the point of anchor, until the Slastix tubing is almost fully stretched.The added resistance pulls the athlete faster, forcing the athlete's stride to lenghten and pace to quicken. After the overspeed training device has performed its roll, the athlete pulls the quick release strap, the device separates from the athlete and the athlete then tries to maintain that speed and stride beyond the point of anchor. Trick your nervous system to command your muscles to fire faster than ever! Great for increasing stride frequency and explosive acceleration drills. Includes a 30' long Slastix with a swivel belt or runners harness.
